What to expect in a session
Sound therapy sessions, also known as "Sound baths" can take place in groups or privately. They usually run from 30-60mins depending on the intentions
Participants are invited to give a bit of information on how they're feeling and what they'd like to heal. It is not mandatory if they'd prefer to keep to themselves.
Once everyone who wants to speak has spoken, participants lie comfortably and let the sound practicioners commence the session.
At Tan Jai we use a combination of instruments not limited to but including:
singing bowls
rain stick
tungue drum
ocean drum
gong
Once the sounds have finished, the participants lie in silence for 10-15mins in order to absorb the effects that may have just occured.
They are then invited to speak to how they felt during the session.
Tea or water is served.
