Sauna

Is it Better to use the sauna before or after the massage


Both options have their benefits and regardless of which one you choose, enjoy the enhancement of your session! Having a sauna before or after the session is a great way to extend the session. Some of the other benefits may be as follows:

Before the massage:


Using the infrared sauna before your massage can be a nice start to the treatment. The time in the sauna may allow for a calmer mind, and the heat will warm up your tissues which can make it easier for the therapist to go deeper.


After a massage:


Having a sauna after the massage may give the time needed for your body to integrate the work of the massage before going back to regular “routine”. Having the sauna after the massage may also help with detoxification benefits of the massage as the sauna can help get rid of accumulated toxins and waste in your body.

Whatever option is chosen, it is important to STAY HYDRATED!
